Story leads

What FLIRT is actually about.

A conference that took over a city

Brighton, November 2 – 3, 2026. 9+ programmed venues across the city, not one convention centre.

Future leaders in responsible technology

FLIRT is deliberately built around the operators, founders and policy people shaping how AI actually gets deployed, not just who's shipping the biggest model.

7 workshops and 2 headline challenges

Every hands-on experience ends with a plan, checklist, prototype, short film, track or piece of work that participants keep.

A festival, not a trade show

After Dark: hosted tables, live sessions, listening rooms and closing socials. The programme runs into the night, on purpose.

Startup Village

A dedicated floor across both days where early-stage companies demo, hire, raise, and meet investors and press by appointment. Format to be confirmed.

Made in Brighton

Independently produced on the south coast, not another London off-site. A statement about where the UK tech conversation happens next.
