7 workshops · 2 challenges · 2 days

The workshops.

Seven practical workshops and two collaborative challenges. Make something useful, strengthen an idea or practise a difficult decision, then leave with work you can use. Programme subject to securing facilitators and delivery partners.

Make something useful

Make.

Write a song with Daniel Bedingfield

How do you turn something you feel into something people want to sing? Join Daniel Bedingfield to explore how an idea becomes a lyric, a melody and a memorable hook. Monday 2 November·90 minutesOperator and Growth

Build an automation that earns its keep

Monday 2 November·90 minutesScale Up and Investment

Fix your pitch with an investor

Bring a three-minute pitch or a one-page business outline. In small feedback groups, put your proposition through the questions investors ask: what problem matters, what evidence supports it, how does the business work and what will the money unlock? Rewrite your weakest section, then try it again.

Tuesday 3 November·90 minutesOperator and Growth

Find the AI project worth doing

Leaders, operators and teams deciding where to start

Make better decisions

Tuesday 3 November·60 minutesAIMI Main Stage

Would you publish it?

Your campaign is ready to launch. It includes AI-generated images, a synthetic voice, music and a claim that might not stand up. Working as an editorial team, decide what you would publish, change or hold back. Compare your decisions with an expert’s assessment and explore the questions you missed.

For
Creative, media, marketing and communications teams
Experience

You leave with · A reusable pre-publication checklist and practice spotting issues that need further checks or specialist advice.

Your AI launch has gone wrong. Now what?

A fictional organisation has launched an AI product. Now evidence of harm is emerging, a journalist wants answers and your team disagrees about what to do. Take a role, respond to new information and decide whether to pause, change or defend the launch. Then face questions about your decision.

For
Teams responsible for technology, policy, risk or public trust

Scenario materials provided
Host
Facilitator and scenario to be announced
You leave with · A decision log, an expert debrief and a crisis exercise you can take back to your team.

Booking

Getting a seat.

  • An initial workshop reservation allocation opens once capacities are confirmed.
  • Challenge participants register separately so balanced teams can be assembled.
  • The investor workshop has a smaller capacity based on confirmed expert reviewers.
  • Popular workshops may repeat if demand and staffing justify it.
  • An accessible waitlist runs alongside reservations, with access requirements collected privately.
  • Equipment and preparation details are sent ahead of the event.
Programme status

Concepts first.

The seven workshop concepts and two challenges are the proposed programme. Hosts, creative briefs, capacity, equipment and exact timetable will be published once delivery is secured.

Accessible participation.

Materials come in accessible digital and print formats. Every contributor gets a microphone, screens are readable from the back, seating is a choice, and there is always a way to take part without speaking publicly. Tell us what you need when you book and the access lead will follow it up. We budget for captioning and requested support.

Work stays yours. We use cleared media, fictional business examples and sample data, and we do not record workshop screens, founder feedback or access needs by default. Any public music release or film showcase needs separate clearance.
